Sportable Hosts RVA Tailgate Remote Edition September 18-20

Sportable is proud to host the 9th Annual RVA Tailgate Remote Edition, presented by Dominion Energy, the weekend of September 18-20, 2020. Adapted from Sportable’s signature annual fundraiser event, the largest Remote Tailgate in RVA will bring the community together to raise critical funds and awareness for the non-profit’s mission to make sports accessible and inclusive for individuals with physical disabilities and visual impairments. Sportable Announces Return to Play

Sportable is pleased to announce a return to play plan that will enable individuals with physical disabilities and visual impairments to participate in modified, non-contact programs for the first time since play was suspended on March 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Registration will be available for current Sportable members on Monday, June 15 at Sportable.org.

Sportable, United Spinal Create Emergency Support Program

Sportable and United Spinal Association of Virginia have collaborated to create an Emergency Support Program. Through the generous support of the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation’s Neilsen Emergency Support Grant, Sportable and the United Spinal Association of Virginia will offer emergency relief for members from both organizations who are living with spinal cord injuries or disease (SCI/D).
