Wheelchair Basketball – Recreational

Recreational wheelchair basketball is for those who have an interest in playing the sport for fun and exercise.

The program will start back up in Fall 2020. If you are interested in participating with the adult competitive program, please contact Program Manager Forrest Lodge at forrest@sportable.org.

Who Can Play

Our wheelchair basketball program is open to athletes of all ages. Not all players use wheelchairs for everyday mobility.

Equipment

Included

  • This sport is played in sports wheelchairs, and athletes must be able to maneuver their chairs independently. Sportable provides sport wheelchairs for new athletes until they procure their own.
