Sportable was conceived in 2005 by two Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists, and has risen as the leading provider of adaptive sports and recreation programs in the Richmond area. Led entirely by trained and dedicated volunteers, Sportable has created an overwhelming demand for programs from participants throughout Virginia and surrounding states.

Our core belief is to focus on each individual's inherent ability versus their limitations. Through adaptive equipment or need-based modifications, we're able to help athletes overcome the barriers that often exist in sports and recreation settings.
